SUR/FIN® Manufacturing & Technology Trade Show & Conference – NASF SUR/FIN is produced by the National Association for Surface Finishing (NASF), the finishing industry’s leading organization.
What is the purpose of the SUR/FIN Trade Show and Conference?
NASF SUR/FIN is the gathering place each year for the finishing industry, with a dedicated focus on new surface technology initiatives, industry education and an evolving industry. The event features exhibits of the latest technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services plus extensive industry-targeted educational sessions and training.
Where and when did SUR/FIN 2017 take place?
Held every year, the 2017 SUR/FIN Manufacturing & Technology Trade Show & Conference took place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., from Monday, June 19 through Wednesday, June 21.
Where did attendees stay while attending the trade show?
A room block was available at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center, just east of the Conference Center, for a rate of $160 for single/double occupancy.
Who attended SUR/FIN?
SUR/FIN attracts people involved in all segments of the finishing industry, including waste water treatment, materials producers, environmental, chemical companies, major manufacturing companies, government relations and regulatory officials. Attendees have access to the broadest network of professionals in surface finishing.
Who exhibited at SUR/FIN?
SUR/FIN exhibitors showcase the technologies and innovations in equipment, products and services from all parts of the surface finishing supply chain. SUR/FIN offered a comprehensive educational program during the three-day event with sessions featuring timely issues and trends, management and applied technology. A full schedule of sessions and speakers is available at here.
What training courses were available for people to attend?
NASF’s educational arm, the AESF Foundation offered two training courses throughout the conference, as well as comprehensive exams for Certified Electroplater Finishers (CEF) and Certified Aerospace Finishers (CAF) certifications.
How is SUR/FIN viewed and supported in the surface finishing industry?
Many leading industry organizations from around the world participate as supporters while key publications/media participate as media sponsors. SUR/FIN is recognized as a respected gathering place to be for the industry, and key events such as the NASF Annual Meeting, “Industry Night” and others are held in conjunction with the conference.
