The 96th NASF SUR/FIN Manufacturing & Technology Conference & Tradeshow will take place June 9-11, 2014 at the new Cleveland Convention Center in Cleveland, OH.
What day and time does it begin?
SUR/FIN begins at 1pm on Monday, June 9th
Where can I find information about hotel reservations for SUR/FIN?

How do I submit an abstract to speak at SUR/FIN?
The call of abstracts has officially closed. However, we welcome you to stay in touch with the NASF.org website for future opportunities to speak.
What are the registration fees and how do I register for the Convention?
Registration is available for NASF members and non-members. Please visit the registration page for detailed registration information and to register online.
Do I have to pay extra for the conference sessions at SUR/FIN?
No, there are no additional charges for sessions when you register for the full conference. One rate covers everything. Full conference registration includes full access to all sessions, keynote presentations, trade show floor, free luncheons, and Monday evening reception.
Is training being conducted at SUR/FIN?
Yes. The educational arm of The National Association for Surface Finishing, the AESF, will offer technical education courses during SUR/FIN. Visit the Education page on NASF.org to view a complete list of courses being offered by the AESF.

Are the SUR/FIN Hotels within walking distance of the Convention Center?
Yes. The Hyatt Regency Cleveland, The Westin Cleveland Downtown and the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown-Lakeside are all conveniently located within walking distance of the Cleveland Convention Center.
Where will the SUR/FIN events be held?
- The SUR/FIN 2014 Opening Reception will be held on the tradeshow floor, Monday evening, June 9th from 5:30-7:00pm.
- The SUR/FIN 2014 Welcome Party to be held at The Corner Alley Bowling - hosted by the Ohio Association of Metal Finishers (OAMF)
- Tuesday features the annual SUR/FIN Industry Reception at Cleveland Convention Center.

Yes, you can save up to $150 when you register before June 4, 2014.

Where is onsite registration?
Onsite registration will take place outside of Hall “C” at the Cleveland Convention Center.
What is the dress code for the Convention?
What kind of networking opportunities will I have?
Many! Receptions will be held at the convention center on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, the popular Welcome Party event sponsored by the Ohio Chapter will be held on Monday evening in addition to free luncheons on the tradeshow floor. Visit NASFsurfin.com regularly for an update on events.
Where can I get bite to eat?
Free lunch will be available on the tradeshow floor for all attendees. Complete information on Cleveland restaurants is available in the travel section on nasfsurfin.com.
What is the conference Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations received in writing via fax at 202-530-0659 or email to Cheryl Clark at CClark@nasf.org by 6/4/2014 will receive a full refund less a $25 handling fee. There are no refunds after 6/4/2014. Substitutions are welcome.
