The safety of our attendees and staff is our top priority. We are working closely with the TCF Center and monitoring recommendations from local and state authorities regarding COVID-19.
We are eager to resume in-person events again and the health and safety of our attendees and partners is our first priority. Show management is working closely with the TCF Center, Arata Expositions, the City of Detroit, and the state of Michigan to ensure we are taking necessary steps to host SUR/FIN 2021 in compliance with CDC & EPA recommendations. Guidelines are subject to change and we will continue to work with the TCF Center and monitor recommendations from local and state authorities regarding events.
The TCF Center is GBAC Certified and adheres to all environmental hygiene requirements of the program to ensure the safety and security of visitors.
Hand sanitizer stations have been installed throughout the Center. BNC-15, a product effective against the coronavirus, is utilized by staff on each shift to disinfect all door knobs, ledges, counters, handrails, escalator rails and other high-touch areas.
The TCF Center will continue to engage with federal, state and local health organizations to ensure the latest updates and protocols are being followed.
Increased signage exists throughout the facility outlining advisable precautions including handwashing, social distancing, facility practices, and safety protocols.
Based on recommendations from the Michigan Department of Public Health and Human Services, the TCF Center is currently requiring guests to wear face masks at all times.
The TCF Center provides training and daily temperature screenings for all employees and visitors. It also distributes critical information to key staff members and business partners to help prevent communicable illnesses throughout the venue.
